Course : Before the start of each semester (first-come, first-served basis)
Assessment : During a designated period according to the exam schedule (online, first-come, first-served)

Preliminary/midterm/comprehensive evaluations : conducted several times a year (check notices)

Evaluation fee : 38,000 won (per test, regardless of type)
Visa benefits
When applying for permanent residency (F-5) or nationality (naturalization) Required or eligible for additional points. Proof of Korean language proficiency can be used when changing or extending your residency status .

IBT : 95,000 won (as of 2024, subject to change)

Proof of Korean language proficiency is required when applying for or changing visas, including student (D-2), employment (E series), residence (F-2), and permanent residency (F-5). High level requirements apply.
